You are going to play as a strange kid named Sally whose face is always covered by a white mask. While telling his story, the game makers skillfully use the time trick – moments of the present are subtly intertwined with scenes from the past, and all of that makes everything happening on the screen very believable. As you will find out, Sally’s life wasn’t really cloudless and there is a dreadful drama behind his shoulders. Unfortunately, you won’t discover just everything there is to know about him and will have to do with vague hints and memories. That only makes the character of Sally more mysterious and intriguing, and you want to play more hoping that other interesting nuances will be revealed soon.
The rest of the characters in Sally Face are just as fascinating and lifelike. Each of them has their own traits and background. And each of them you are going to remember long after you finish the game thanks to witty dialogues where the authors were able to express their whole uniqueness. You can really feel the weaknesses and strength of every hero, after some time it seems like you almost know them for real. It’s especially true for Sally because the events are shown from his perspective, and you involuntarily associate yourself with him while playing.
